Streamline Candidate Management with New Label Actions in Oracle Recruiting Cloud 24B

In the fast-paced world of recruitment, efficiency and accuracy are paramount. Oracle Recruiting Cloud’s latest update, version 24B, brings an exciting new feature that promises to revolutionize candidate management: automated label actions. This game-changing functionality streamlines workflows, reduces manual effort, and ensures candidate profiles are always up-to-date.

Automate Label Assignment and Removal 🏷️

As an administrator, you can now configure the Add or Remove Candidate Labels action to automatically assign or remove labels based on specific triggers within the candidate selection process. This can be set up in the following ways:

When a candidate reaches the defined phase or state, the selected label is automatically assigned or removed, streamlining the process and ensuring profiles are kept current.

  • To a phase, when entering a phase
  • To a phase, when leaving a phase
  • To a specific state

Tips and Considerations 📝

  • If a label is removed from the Manage Recruiting Labels configuration page, it will also be removed from the Add or Remove Candidate Labels selector.
  • You can define conditions for the candidate selection process and use fast formulas to dynamically add or remove candidate labels.

Use Cases Where This Feature Adds Value 🎯

  1. Efficient Identification of Top Candidates: Automatically tag candidates who pass the initial screening phase with a ‘Top Candidate’ label. This helps recruiters quickly identify and focus on the most promising applicants.
  2. Streamlining Rejection Processes: Assign a ‘Rejected’ label to candidates who do not pass the interview phase. This ensures that rejected candidates are correctly categorized, aiding in clear communication and documentation.
  3. Tracking Internal Referrals: Label candidates who are employee referrals when they enter the application phase. This makes it easy to track and prioritize internal referrals throughout the hiring process.
  4. Managing Diversity Initiatives: Use labels to track candidates who are part of diversity hiring initiatives. Automatically assign labels when candidates meet certain diversity criteria, helping to monitor and report on diversity goals.
  5. Organizing by Application Source: Automatically tag candidates based on the source of their application (e.g., ‘Job Board,’ ‘Career Fair,’ ‘Employee Referral’). This aids in analyzing the effectiveness of different recruitment channels.
  6. Monitoring Application Progress: Label candidates who reach the final interview stage as ‘Finalist’ to keep track of those who are in the final consideration pool. This helps in maintaining an organized view of the most advanced candidates.

This feature helps to reduce manual updates, keeping candidate profiles accurately labeled throughout the selection process.
