Hello Oracle Fusion HCM enthusiasts! I’m excited to share a fantastic new feature from the Oracle Fusion Human Resources module as part of the 24C version. Let’s dive into the Improved Hierarchy Navigation for the Team Activity Center. This enhancement is set to streamline how you manage and view your team and position hierarchies.
🚀 What’s New?
You can now seamlessly navigate between manager and position hierarchies on the Team Activity Center page. Here’s a quick rundown of the new features:
- Organization Hierarchy and Position Hierarchy pages: These pages display the structure of your organization and positions in a clear, quickly scannable format.
- Quick Actions: Access several other pages through quick actions.
- Easy Switch: Use the View filter to switch between the Organization Hierarchy and Position Hierarchy views.
Accessing the Team Activity Center
As a manager, here’s how you can get to your Team Activity Center page:
- On the My Team tab, go to the Quick Actions pane.
- Click Team Activity Center.
- Alternatively, you can use the Team Activity Center app.
On the Team Activity Center page, the Org Hierarchy button is available on the Workers view, and the Position Hierarchy button is available on the Positions view. Use the View filter to switch between these views.
🏢 Organization Hierarchy
When in the Workers view, click the Org Hierarchy button to open your organization hierarchy. This page groups workers based on their manager, location, and department, displaying the information hierarchically.

The Organization Hierarchy page shows your manager’s details and your reports. You can navigate down to your reports’ org hierarchy using this page.

Tabs in the Organization Hierarchy Page
- Directs: Shows your direct reports, their assignment numbers, and the number of direct and total reports.
- Total Reports: Shows all reports in your organization.
- Locations: Details of locations where your org workers operate.
- Departments: Details of departments within your organization.

📊 Position Hierarchy

Tabs in the Position Hierarchy Page
- Directs: Shows positions directly under your position.
- All Reports: Shows all positions under your position.
- Incumbents: Shows incumbents in your position.

🛠️ Steps to Enable
You don’t need to do anything special to enable this feature. It’s automatically available in your Oracle Fusion HCM 24C update.
💡 Tips and Considerations
- You can personalize Redwood pages using Visual Builder Studio (VBS)
- Enabling the Team Activity Center page (by setting the ORA_PER_MY_TEAM_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option) will replace your My Team app with the Team Activity Center app.
- Quick Actions displayed are of Redwood-enabled pages only.
- Ensure the HCM position hierarchy is set up to view info in the Positions view.
- Aggregate counts on the filter chip result pertain to the employee whose Team Activity Center page you’re on.
