With the upcoming 24D update, there’s an important change you need to be aware of regarding the Redwood Journey Template pages.
Key Update: Discontinued Support for Users Without a Person Record
Starting with update 24D, only users with their accounts associated with a person record can be selected from the Performer Name and Owner Name list of values (LoV). This change will be noticeable when configuring users as journey task performers or owners on the Redwood Journeys Template pages.
Let’s delve into why this change is essential and what benefits it brings to your Oracle HCM environment.
Why This Change?
Oracle has made this update to ensure:
- Only valid users with person records are available in the LoV.
- Improved LoV performance for a smoother user experience.
- Enhanced security by ensuring sensitive data like usernames are not displayed.
- Compliance with organizational security policies.
- Consistent and better usability by displaying details such as first name, last name, person number, and email address.
This update aligns with Oracle’s commitment to providing a secure and efficient environment for all users.
