Imagine you’re a manager and one of your team members is about to complete 5 years with the company. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to appreciate their loyalty. This is where Oracle’s nudge kicks in 💌

Nudge when an employee’s work anniversary is X days away
🔁 Frequency: One-time
👀 Channels: Email + Touchpoints Card + Journey
👤 Recipient: Line Manager

🛠️ How to Configure a Nudge: Step-by-Step with “Work Anniversary Reminder” Scenario
🔧 Step 1: Navigate to Nudge Configuration
- Login to Oracle Fusion as an HR Specialist or Admin.
- Go to:
My Client Groups - Click on the Nudge Configuration quick action under the Employment category.

✍️ Step 2: Create a New Nudge Plan
- On the Nudge Configurations page, click Add to create a new plan.
- In the Nudge Plan page, fill in the following:
- Name:
Work Anniversary Reminder - Status:
Active✅ (Only active plans will trigger nudges) - Optionally, enter:
- Start Date and End Date
- Description: e.g., “This plan sends reminders to managers for employee work anniversaries”
- Name:
- Click Save.


➕ Step 3: Add a Nudge to the Plan
- Under the Nudges section in the plan, click Add.
- In the Nudge page:
- Module: Human Resources
- Reason: Employee’s anniversary is approaching
- Configuration Name: Optionally edit (e.g.,
Work_Anniversary_7Days) - Status: Active
- Days Before Work Anniversary: Enter

📣 Step 4: Add Nudge Channels
Now let’s define how and where this nudge will appear.
- Under Channels, click Add.
- For each channel, fill the following:
➔ Channel 1: Email
- Channel Type: Email
- Recipient Type: Line Manager
- Content Source: Choose:
- Default Content
- User-defined content (recommended)
Example: “Celebrate [Employee Name]’s milestone—Their work anniversary is coming up in 7 days!”
- Priority: Medium
- Ensure the Active checkbox is ticked.

➔ Channel 2: Touchpoints Card
- Same as above.

➔ Channel 3: Journey (Optional)
- Recipient: Employee
- Use if launching a recognition journey.

🔖 Step 5: Save the Nudge
- Click OK to close the Channel window
- Click Save and Close on the Nudge page


⏱️ Step 6: (Optional) Schedule the Nudge Plan
- In the Schedule section, click Add
- Define:
- Start Date
- Repeat Frequency
- End Condition (by date or occurrences)
- Runs per Period


🔎 Step 7: Run the Evaluation Job
- Navigate to Scheduled Processes
- Run:
- Process HCM Nudges
- Process HCM Scheduled Nudges (if applicable)

Nudge Configuration> Click Executions - View Request Number → Click to view:
- Summary tab: Total nudges sent
