🔢 Step-by-Step – How Google Workspace Integration Works in Interviews
1. ✅ Enable Google Meet for Interviews
While creating an interview schedule:
- Select Web Conference as the format.
- A new option appears – Enable Google Meet.

2. 🧭 Real-Time Interviewer Availability
When creating or modifying interviews, ORC reads the interviewer’s calendar from Google and:
- Displays their availability in real-time.
- Ensures you only schedule/reschedule when interviewers are genuinely free.
3. 🔄 Auto-Sync with Google Calendar
When you schedule an interview:
- Interviewers get Google Calendar invites automatically.
- If you change the interview time or cancel it, the Google Calendar event updates accordingly!
4. 📥 View Interviewer RSVP Responses
You can track who accepted or declined the invite:
- The interviewer’s response to the calendar invite (Accept, Maybe, Decline) is shown in Interview Details.
5. 🧑💼 Set Preferred Interview Time Slots (Recruiting Booster Feature)
Recruiters can allow candidates to self-schedule interviews only during preferred windows.
Here’s how interviewers or coordinators can configure it:
- Interviewers:

🧩 Two options are available:
- Use default working days + Google Calendar availability
→ This pulls the system’s default work hours and checks if the interviewer is available. - Use preferred availability + Google Calendar availability
→ Lets you define exact time slots you’d prefer for each weekday.
